On February 24, 2022, the world was shocked and angered by the unprovoked Russian invasion and bombing of a peaceful independent and democratic nation of Ukraine. Canada and its allies view this unprovoked aggression as an assault on all democratic, peaceful countries like our own. The war of Russia being waged on Ukraine has created a humanitarian crisis in Europe unseen since the times of World War II.
Today Ukraine is at its darkest period and its citizens are reeling under the tragedy that has
hit the country. In order to assist civilian organisations in Ukraine, massive and wide-reaching help is needed. Hence, in addition to reaching out to all Ukrainian-Canadians and friends of Ukraine around the world, we are also approaching global, international and regional companies to ask for assistance to help us with providing the much needed support for the active organisations doing the much needed emergency and humanitarian work on the ground.
Our organisation is undertaking efforts to assist orphaned Ukrainian children in the conflict zones of Eastern part of Ukraine as well as other children who were forced to live their homes. Our hope is to provide direct assistance to the humanitarian organisations on the ground with relocating these children to the Western part of Ukraine which is currently free from military conflict.
We are respectfully approaching individuals and companies in the hope that you would help Ukraine in any
way you can and specifically donating:
- monetary donations
- new clothing, footwear, underwear
- baby non-perishable food and formula, powder milk, cacao, baby formula, cookies, dry food, dry soup and pasta, tea, coffee, cookies
